CANVAYO

WEBSITES

I worked for two years at this German company, which also has a branch in Brazil. My clients were mostly German, and all team communication was in English. As a web designer, I focused on creating demo websites based on client briefs. I was also responsible for testing the Canvayo theme on Wordpress and designing various graphic assets for the company.

The Task

The task was assigned to test the full functionality of the existing blocks within Canvayo’s system, which is based on WordPress. A functional design system had been developed to streamline the website creation process. I was responsible for improving some of the blocks, testing them, and suggesting new features that could enhance their performance and usability.

The Design

The visual aesthetics themselves were not a major challenge. The main goal was simply to demonstrate how these blocks would work in practice so that we could eventually apply them to our respective clients' projects. However, the key aspect of the design—the functionality—was closely tied to the visuals. Each image was carefully created and edited in Photoshop with the purpose of enhancing the composition and effectiveness of its corresponding block.

I was also responsible for creating client tutorials on how to use the blocks and understand the product’s functionality, since I had full knowledge of the Canvayo template structure. Many clients wanted the autonomy to make changes to their websites after they were completed, so these guides played a key role in ensuring a smooth and independent user experience.

the clients

Most of the clients were based in Germany, with a strong focus on the pharmacy sector, although the company also served clients from other industries. Based on the briefings provided, I identified each client's specific needs and developed visual solutions aligned with their goals.

the takeaway

Without a doubt, Cavayo was one of the most important companies in my career. I left with a solid foundation in teamwork and creativity, all aligned toward a common purpose. Throughout these projects, I worked side by side with my design team, engaging in daily conversations, design adaptations, creative asset development, and UX design tailored to each client. I was also in constant collaboration with the development team, ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow.
